About Us

Founded in 2019, VisiTouch is the vision and product of five industry experts led by three founding members.  Our goal when we started and one that remains the same is to simplify the flow of non barcoded materials from manufacturer to point of consumption.  We have challenged the status quo at every point of our development and have diligently worked to remove and automate steps in the process. Our Team now has over 125 years of experience and we are ready to put it to use for you and your team. 

Leadership

James R. Camire – Chief Information Officer and Board Member

With over 25 years of experience in building large scale, high transaction systems, James brings a wealth of experience to the RAM team.  James has worked with some of the largest names in healthcare (Saint Jude Medical, Johnson & Johnson), the Internet (MapQuest.com, Qwest Yellow Pages) and franchising (FASTSIGNS) to create and build technical teams, infrastructures and services.  James serves on the Executive Advisory board for Regis University, where he graduated with undergraduate and graduate degrees. James served his country during a four year stint in the United States Army.  He is currently providing architectural and software support to the United States Space Force Command.

Brian J. Shotto – Managing Partner and Board Member

Brian is a 32 year veteran of the healthcare industry and has deep expertise in the area of supply chain.  He is currently Founding Partner at The Lumens Group, a healthcare consultancy focusing on supply chain management, 3PL outsourcing, and channel strategies. Brian has also taken an equity stake in RAM Healthcare Group, a startup service and technology firm that specializes in streamlining the flow of orthopedic implants from manufacturers to sites of care.  Prior to this, he served as SVP Manufacturer Services at Owens & Minor while working directly for the CEO.  In his role he was responsible for all manufacturer facing strategies and services including: purchasing ($9B+) of branded medical device products, 3PL Services in the United States and Europe (led the acquisition of Movianto), sourcing of private label product from China/Malaysia and system-wide inventory management. Owens & Minor is a publicly traded, $10B distributor of name-brand medical and surgical supplies and a healthcare logistics company. Prior to joining O&M, he served as Sr. Consultant with Blue Fin Group where he assisted healthcare manufacturers with all facets of supply chain and channel strategy projects.  Previous to Blue Fin Group, Brian was VP Global Warehousing Strategy at UPS Supply Chain Solutions where he analyzed UPS' global HC strategy and created formal business cases for construction of infrastructure to support UPS’s sector strategy in the US, European, Puerto Rican, Central American and Asia Pacific markets.  Prior to UPS, Brian spent 10 years at FedEx Supply Chain Solutions working in the healthcare division as VP Operations.

Kevin J. McPherson – President and Board Member

Kevin has more than 30-years of diverse experience having served as Vice President of the Healthcare Logistics unit of FedEx Supply Chain, the Vice President of Strategic Solutions for Owens & Minor Corporation, and Global Marketing Director of Product Management for UPS Healthcare Logistics. 

Kevin has extensive knowledge of the vastly differentiated and rapidly evolving supply channel models for orthopedics, pharmaceuticals, in-vitro diagnostics & medical devices.   He is passionately driven to leverage his knowledge and real-life experiences to expand the access and reduce the cost of the delivery of healthcare products via the application of emerging technologies and the optimization of processes, while instilling courage to institute change. 

Kevin holds a degree in Biological Sciences from Cornell University, is a joint patent holder for the development of Promising technology, and has published numerous articles on the current and future state of healthcare logistics.
